About us.

Ground Destruction is owned, built, and designed by us. We are a veteran family who all roll and have a great passion for Jiu-Jitsu and what gear we wear on the mat.

With 12+ years in and around the Jiu-Jitsu community, we have encountered most brands, materials and fits. Each with its merits, or shortcomings--in our opinion. With talk of what our gis would be like, a few friends said "Prove it! Make gis and we will buy them!" 

Inspired! An afternoon soon after was spent hunched over the kitchen counter drawing, sketching what is now the v4 gi. Our first few attempts were hit or miss--largely language barriers with manufacturers, but perseverance wins, and we are confident that we are now winning!

Ground Destruction was inspired by the military, and what we as Jiu-Jitsu practitioners do on the ground--destroy, wreak havoc and destruction, decimate all; the brand name also draws inspiration from many other personal sources.

Ground Destruction started out to prove something and serve our friends, and in return they have helped get us to this point, and for that we are eternally grateful. It makes us proud to see our fellow teammates wear, enjoy, and compete in GD gis.

We recognize there are many other vendors out there and the number grows each day; however, we know we will grow to become one of the most dependable and recognized names in Jiu-Jitsu for gear. Watch this spot!

We truly appreciate the love and support we get each and every day, and are blessed to do what we do, adding our spark to the Jiu-Jitsu community, one gi at a time. It is fun and super rewarding, and this is why we exist.
